Season 3:Andaaz-e-Lucknow: The Swag of the City (December 2023)
The third season of the Begum Festival, a four-day celebration of Lucknow’s rich cultural heritage, began on December 22, 2023, at the picturesque Salempur Lawns. Organized by the Salempur Foundation and powered by LucknowPulse, the season’s theme, “Andaaz-e-Lucknow: The Swag of the City,” aimed at showcasing the unique charm and cultural elegance of Lucknow.

Season 2: Rooh-e-Lucknow (December 2022)
The Begum Festival 2022 Winter Edition (Season 2), organized by Salempur Estate and POSH by Asma Hasan, Powered by LucknowPulse, was a vibrant three-day event held at Salempur House, Qaiserbagh, Lucknow. Themed “Rooh-e-Lucknow: The Mohallas of the City”, the festival celebrated the cultural richness of Lucknow’s historic neighbourhoods through engaging activities, culinary delights, and artistic displays.

Season 1: The Beginning of a Legacy (March 2022)
Begum Festival – A Festival of Traditional Colours was a six-day celebration of literature, culture, cuisine, heritage, and art, held from March 25 to March 30, 2022, at Salempur House, Qaisar Bagh, Lucknow. Organized by Asma Hasan’s POSH and Salempur House and Powered by LucknowPulse, the festival featured an array of engaging activities, including talks, workshops, performances, and exhibitions.
The inaugural season of the Begum Festival was a grand showcase of Lucknow’s rich cultural tapestry. With captivating storytelling sessions, live performances, and workshops on traditional crafts, it set the tone for what would become an annual celebration of Awadhi Culture. Highlights included panel discussions with renowned authors and an exclusive evening of Awadhi music and poetry.
